You may remember “The Pupster” from the last issue of Critter Chatter. He was abandoned as a puppy and we took him home for a weekend to keep him from being sent to animal control. Somehow he is still here. He was about 2 months old then, headstrong, and had no training, so he needed a lot of work. To the surprise of just about everyone who knew him as a puppy, he turned into a really nice dog. His first birthday is January 15, and what better present than to find a permanent home.
He loves to play and gets along well with other dogs as well as cats. He is still a puppy and needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation during the day, and a fenced yard to run and play. It would be best if there was a slightly older dog for him to play with so they could exercise each other. He goes to the dog park and gets along with everyone, and they love him at daycare.
Pupster never got a real name because we thought he would be adopted quickly and the new owner could name him. He weighs about 60 lbs. and may grow a little more. He has been neutered and is current on his vacs. He has no medical problems, and will make someone a great pet.
In the last issue we included all of the above information, but left out one important item—a way to contact us if you are interested in adopting the Pupster. We won't make that mistake again.
