My dear sweet  boy!  I will miss you forever.  You came into my life after Ben's death.  I was so alone and you helped me heal and go on with my life, now you are gone.  How will I go on without you? You were such a big part of my life and I will always have you in my heart.  Such a short life - I hope I made you happy.  You were my best friend Jakie, oh how much I loved you.  I will love you always and never, never forget how much your love and devotion made me feel.   You were truly a gift and I was very lucky to have you in my life. Jake came into my life as a 9 week old puppy after the death of my 9 year old dog, Ben.  We were inseparable for the 3 years we were together.  On the evening of July 27th, a speeding car ended his life.  Jake died in my arms - it was devastating, a moment I will never forget.  Jake was in the prime of his life - so much more for him to do. I hope to be able to heal through this grief and start to remember the good times and hopefully, some day, I will smile again.
